These easements are for the installation of new service to the City of Phoenix for two new Production and Aquifer Storage and Recovery wells. The new wells are intended to provide critical water resource redundancy to the northeastern quadrant of the City. The easements are required for Arizona Public Service (APS) to provide and maintain electrical service to the well sites, including the installation of underground electrical conductors, transformers, and equipment pads. The easements are granted for an indefinite period to all public service corporations, agricultural improvement districts, and telecommunication corporations providing utility service to the property, subject to specific terms and conditions outlined in the ordinance. These conditions include agreements on construction, maintenance, and potential relocation of facilities.
