The City Council of Phoenix authorized the City Manager to enter into contracts with CDW Government LLC and SHI International Corp. to provide information technology solutions, products, and services for city departments. These contracts, stemming from cooperative agreements led by the City of Mesa in partnership with OMNIA Partners, Public Sector (Contracts 2024056-01 and 2024056-02), aim to offer cost savings through volume discounts and streamline the acquisition of IT hardware and accessories, including personal computer systems, workstations, laptops, network equipment, and monitors. The total value of the contracts will not exceed $125,000,000. An exception to the indemnity and assumption of liability provisions of the Phoenix City Code, Section 42-18, was also requested. The contracts are set to begin on or about August 27, 2025, and expire on July 1, 2028, with three two-year extension options.
