The City Council of Philadelphia is considering an ordinance to establish new parking regulations across several streets. These regulations include two-hour parking (8:00 AM - 12:00 AM, Monday - Sunday, Except RPP# 2) on S. 62nd street between Chestnut street and Walnut street. Kingsessing avenue will have two-hour parking (8:00 AM - 10:00 PM, Monday - Sunday, Except RPP #2) on its south side between S. 52nd street and S. 53rd street. Sansom street will have two-hour parking (8:00 AM - 12:00 AM, Monday - Saturday, Except RPP #2) on both sides between S. 62nd street and S. 63rd street. Additionally, Powelton avenue will see three-hour parking (8:00 AM - 10:00 PM, Monday - Friday, Except RPP #3) on its north side between N. 42nd street and N. 43rd street, and two-hour parking (8:00 AM - 10:00 PM, Monday - Friday, Except RPP #3) on its north side between S. 43rd street and Holden street. The bill was introduced by Councilmember Gauthier and is currently in the Committee on Streets and Services.
