The Philadelphia City Council has authorized the Philadelphia Land Bank to dispose of nine properties located on Cecil B Moore Avenue in the 5th Councilmanic District. These properties, including 2806, 2903, 2907, 2913, 2917, 2919, 2925, 2937, and 2939 Cecil B Moore Avenue, are slated for participation in the Neighborhood Preservation Initiative's Turn the Key program. The disposition is in accordance with Chapter 16-700 of The Philadelphia Code, which governs the Land Bank's ability to convey, exchange, sell, transfer, lease, grant, or mortgage interests in real property. The Land Bank Board of Directors determined that conveying these properties aligns with its best interests and the goals of the Neighborhood Preservation Initiative.
