The Philadelphia City Council has authorized the Philadelphia Land Bank to dispose of 20 parcels located on W. Girard Avenue in the 4th Councilmanic District. The disposition, in accordance with Chapter 16-700 of The Philadelphia Code, is intended to facilitate the development of rental housing. The Land Bank Board of Directors determined that the conveyance of these properties is in the best interest for future housing. The affected parcels include 4947-49, 4951, 4953, 4955, 4957, 4967, 4969-73, 4979, 4981, 4983, 4985, 4987, 4989, 4989 1/2, 4991, and 4991 1/2 W. Girard Avenue.
