The City of Philadelphia has authorized the revision of lines and grades on a portion of City Plan No. 226, specifically to strike and vacate Bristol Street from Second Street to Hunting Park Avenue. This ordinance also reserves and places on the City Plan rights-of-way for sewer, drainage, water main, gas main, and public utility purposes within the lines of the vacated Bristol Street. The authorization is conditional upon property owners filing an agreement to release and indemnify the City from any damages arising from these changes. Owners must also grant the City the reserved rights-of-way, with a stipulation that no new structures can be built within these lines without prior approval from relevant departments. Additionally, the party in interest must cover the cost of advertising a public hearing. The ordinance requires a payment of two hundred dollars ($200.00) to the City Treasury within 120 days to become effective.
