This resolution approves an intergovernmental agreement between the State of Tennessee, Department of Transportation (TDOT) and the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, through the Nashville Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure (NDOT), for the North Nashville Community Engagement/Jefferson Street Corridor Planning and Environmental Linkages (PEL) Study. The agreement enables community engagement services to gather input on future planning needs and initiatives within North Nashville, and provides for a FHWA Planning and Environmental Linkages Study for potential improvements in the Jefferson Street Corridor. The agreement has a five-year term, with funding from the Federal Highway Administration ($3,000,000) and a Metropolitan Government match ($750,000). The total estimated project cost is $3,750,000.
