The Louisville Metro Planning Commission staff recommends approval of a Revised Detailed District Development Plan with binding elements for the Smyrna Parkway Apartments. The proposal is to construct a 1,600 sq. ft. clubhouse with a pool to serve a previously approved multi-family development on an 8.96-acre site. The site is zoned R-6 Multi-Family Residential. This proposal does not meet the threshold for Committee level review and could otherwise be approved by staff, but must be approved by Metro Council in accordance with Binding Element #8 from case 20-ZONE-0121. Public Works and MSD have preliminarily approved the proposal. The development plan complies with the applicable guidelines and policies of the Comprehensive Plan and Land Development Code, consistent with Housing Goal 1, Policy 3 of Plan 2040.
