An ordinance was approved to rezone approximately 3.13 acres located in Council District 9 from Residential Low Density-60 (RLD-60) and Industrial Light (IL) Districts to Planned Unit Development (PUD) District. The new PUD district will permit a commercial office, including associated parking, storage, and maintenance of company tractors and trailers for Southeast Freight, Inc. The property is located at 2828 12th Street West and 0 Wickwire Street, between St. Claire Street and Huron Street. The rezoning is consistent with the 2045 Comprehensive Plan and the companion Small-Scale Amendment L-5919-24C. The City Council found that the proposed PUD will not adversely affect the orderly development of the City, public health, safety, or the natural environment.
