The City Council approved an ordinance to waive the minimum required road frontage for a property located at 0 Collins Road, between Cholo Trail and Westport Road. The application, WRF-25-10, sought to reduce the minimum road frontage requirements from 80 feet to 30 feet in a Residential Rural-Acre (RR-Acre) zoning district. The Council found that practical or economic difficulties existed in carrying out the strict regulation and that the waiver would not diminish property values, alter the area's character, or injure the rights of others. It was also determined that adequate vehicular access is available and the waiver would not be detrimental to public health, safety, or welfare. The application was approved after a public hearing and an advisory recommendation from the Planning and Development Department.
