The City Council of Jacksonville approved a small-scale land use amendment to the 2045 Comprehensive Plan. The amendment changes the Future Land Use Map designation for a 1.5± acre parcel located at 1660 Lindsey Road from Low Density Residential (LDR) to Community/General Commercial (CGC). The property is situated between Normandy Boulevard and Greek Road in Council District 12. The application, L-6048-25C, was filed by Cyndy Trimmer, Esq., on behalf of the owner, B&D Group, LLC. The Planning Commission and the Land Use and Zoning Committee recommended approval after public hearings. The ordinance will become effective upon the Mayor's signature or without it, subject to any challenges.
