This grant will fund the E.P. Hill Multi-Use Park project, which involves constructing a multi-use detention basin and associated facilities. These facilities include bioswales, walking trails, benches, playgrounds, a basketball court, a picnic pavilion, pedestrian lighting, and a new parking lot within E.P. Hill Park. The multi-use detention basin is expected to benefit future storm sewer system drainage improvements in the Sunnyside area. The project is fully funded by the federal grant, with no local match required. The grant funds must be spent by August 31, 2032.
