The City and County of Denver approved a contract with 4965 Washington Street LLLP for $22,550,681.00 over a 20-year term. This funding will provide 20 Homeless Resolution Project Based Vouchers (HR-PBVs) to assist with the delivery of Permanent Supportive Housing units at 4965 Washington Street in Council District 9. The overall development is a 190-unit affordable rental housing project. The HR-PBV units will support households earning at or below 30% of the Area Median Income (AMI), with a mix of 5 one-bedroom, 5 two-bedroom, 5 three-bedroom, and 5 four-bedroom units. The project will also include 170 affordable units for households earning between 30% and 80% AMI, a small cafe, and a new Denver Public Library. The 243,713 square foot building features Corten Steel and galvanized metal cladding, and utilizes cast-in-place concrete and cross-laminated timber for structural support. Payments for the vouchers will follow State of Colorado Division of Housing (CDOH) reimbursement rates.
