The City and County of Denver approved an Amendatory Agreement with Colorado Women's Employment and Education, Incorporated (CWEE) d/b/a Center for Work Education and Employment. This amendment adds $1,273,805.00 to the existing contract, bringing the new total to $2,371,913.00, and extends the contract by one year, with a new end date of June 30, 2026. CWEE will continue to provide citywide case management and supplemental services to Colorado Works (CW) and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) participants. These services aim to help participants overcome short to long-term barriers to job readiness and achieve self-sufficiency, including workforce development, education and training, life skills, domestic violence support, and housing assistance. The program targets vulnerable families with specific eligibility criteria, offering various service levels tailored to individual needs. The funding for this contract comes from the federal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Block Grant.
