The City and County of Denver approved an amendatory agreement with Jewish Family Service of Colorado, Inc. (JFS) to extend their contract by one year, with a new end date of June 30, 2026. This amendment adds $970,756.00 to the original contract, bringing the total to $1,800,462.00. JFS will continue to provide case management and supplemental services citywide to Colorado Works (CW) and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) participants. These services aim to help participants overcome short to long-term barriers to job readiness and achieve self-sufficiency. The scope of work includes various case management services, skills training (Job Search Accelerator, Career Launchpad Workshops, Vocational Training, Practical Training, Conversations with a Career Coach), and other employment services such as career services and disability employment services. JFS also offers Abby's Impact Program – Realizing Resilience, Housing Navigation, and Mental Health Services. The program is funded through federal grants via the Colorado Department of Human Services.
