A resolution approving an Amendatory Loan Agreement between the City and County of Denver and Kappa Tower II LLLP. The amendment allows for the partial release of a vacant parcel of the Kappa Tower II property for the future development of Kappa Tower III, a second senior affordable housing rental project. The original Kappa Tower II project, funded with $700,000 in Affordable Housing Permanent Funds, provides 70 affordable units (18 at 60% AMI, 27 at 50% AMI, 18 at 40% AMI, and 7 at 30% AMI) for at least 60 years. Kappa Tower III is projected to add 30 more senior affordable housing units, funded with $1,050,000 from the Linkage Fee Fund. This amendment updates the legal description of the Kappa Tower II project to reflect the future Kappa Tower III project.
