The City Council of Columbus authorized the Director of the Department of Development to convey title of eleven parcels of real property held in the Land Bank to Urban Alliance LLC. These parcels, located at various addresses including Alton Ave., E 6th Ave., E 9th Ave., E 11th Ave., and Rarig Ave. in Columbus, Ohio, were approved for disposition under the Land Reutilization Program. Urban Alliance LLC plans to construct multi-family homes on these vacant parcels as part of a new pilot program called the Moderately Priced Housing Initiative. The transfer of these properties will involve the execution of necessary agreements and deeds by the Director of Development to ensure compliance with land bank program rules and the submitted application. The sale of these properties will allow the City to recover expenses incurred in their acquisition, administration, management, maintenance, and disposition. The total sale price for the eleven parcels amounts to $63,628.00 plus processing fees.
