Aquinnah Investment Trust proposes to rezone the site from B3-5 (Community Shopping District) to a Business Planned Development to construct a 26-story hotel, approximately 304 feet in height. The development includes 250 hotel rooms, along with retail, office space, and other accessory uses. The project will provide 118 accessory parking spaces (5 accessible) and 12 bicycle parking spaces, as well as one 10'x50'x15' loading berth. The net site area is 36,087 SF, and the calculated gross floor area is 180,435 SF. The City of Chicago is a partial owner of the property and will sell its portion to the applicant.
