The Atlanta City Council adopted a resolution authorizing the Mayor or his designee, on behalf of the Atlanta Department of Transportation, to execute a Project Management Agreement (PMA) with the Atlanta Downtown Improvement District (ADID). This agreement is for the Edgewood Avenue Safe Streets Project, also referred to as the Edgewood Avenue Bike/Ped Improvements Project, which aims to install multimodal safety enhancements including pedestrian, bicycle, and curbside loading improvements along Edgewood Avenue between the Downtown Connector and Boulevard. The total amount for this contracted work will not exceed $755,000.00. The project is funded through the 2022 Public Improvement Bond Funds and 2015 Infrastructure Bond Fund. This resolution corrects an earlier resolution (24-R-3918) which inadvertently identified the project limits as extending from Jackson Street to Boulevard instead of the intended Downtown Connector to Boulevard.
