A substitute ordinance was approved by the City Council to rezone an 8.98-acre property from I-2 (Heavy Industrial) to MR-5A (Multifamily Residential). The property is located at multiple addresses along Huber Street NW, fronting 750 feet on the east side of Huber Street, NW, beginning at the intersection of the easterly right-of-way of Huber Street and southerly right-of-way of Old Chattahoochee Avenue. The rezoning permits the development of multifamily residential units on land previously zoned for heavy industrial use. The approval was subject to conditions under Section 16-02.003 of the Zoning Ordinance, which allows for conditional development.
