The Board of Supervisors adopted a resolution approving the list of five pavement renovation projects to be funded by Fiscal Year 2025–2026 Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account funds established under California Senate Bill 1. The City will receive an estimated $32.8 million to resurface, repair, and rehabilitate 178 blocks across San Francisco. Projects include Various Locations Pavement Renovation Nos. 80, 85, 86A, 87, and 89, each covering multiple street segments, with construction scheduled between December 2025 and May 2028 and an estimated useful life of 10–25 years. The Pavement Management System was used to select projects based on pavement condition, multimodal priorities, geographic equity, and readiness. The resolution supports coordination with other funding sources and agencies and acknowledges that scope or schedule may adjust due to unforeseen challenges.
