The Board delegated authority to the Treasure Island Development Authority to submit a joint application for up to $50 million in AHSC funds for Treasure Island Parcel IC4.3. The application partners include IC4.3 Family Housing, LP and, if required, the Treasure Island Mobility Management Agency to fund a 150-unit affordable housing development, ten new bus shelters, 3 lane-miles of bikeways, 3 000 ft of pedestrian walkways, and ten years of all-electric ferry operations. If awarded, the Authority will assume joint and several liability for project completion and execute all necessary AHSC Program documents, including a Standard Agreement with the State. The Parcel IC4.3 site at Trade Winds Ave & Braghetta Ln is fully entitled and in schematic design for low-income housing plus ground-floor childcare. The coordinated transit, pedestrian and bicycle improvements will enhance connectivity between affordable housing, downtown SF, and Yerba Buena Island.
