This ordinance amends the Planning Code and Zoning Map to create the 3250 19th Avenue Special Sign District overlay on Assessor’s Parcel Block No. 7231, Lot No. 003. It authorizes one sign per 130 linear feet of street frontage and sets maximum sign areas for wall and freestanding signs to reflect the parcel’s large size. The overlay also allows wall signs up to 50 feet in height and permits indirect illumination while maintaining a 3-foot setback from the street property line. These controls apply to signage for all principally or conditionally permitted uses on the campus. The SSD is tailored to the site’s educational campus setting, fronting California Highway 1 and Junipero Serra Boulevard, and aligns with other nearby special sign districts.
