The New York City Council adopted Resolution 0998-2025, affirming the Landmarks Preservation Commission's designation of the Modulightor Building Apartment Duplex at 246 East 58th Street in Manhattan as an historic landmark. The designation includes the third and fourth floor plans as interior landmarks. The Modulightor Building, designed by architect Paul Rudolph, was built between 1989 and 1994 and is recognized for its Late 20th Century Modern style. This decision followed a public hearing on July 8, 2025, and subsequent layover by the Subcommittee on Landmarks, Public Sitings, and Dispositions.
