The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County approved a second amendment to a grant contract with Living Development Concepts, Inc. for the construction of affordable housing. The original grant, approved by Resolution No. RS2022-1857, provided $750,000 for six Barnes Fund-related developments on four Metro-owned properties. The first amendment extended the contract term from 24 to 36 months. This second amendment reduces the maximum grant amount by $354,849.23, from $750,000 to $395,150.77, due to the unsuitability of the property at 919 43rd Avenue North for construction, which was returned to Metro. This reduction in grant amount is due to a decreased number of overall units being constructed. The amendment also extends the agreement term from 36 to 48 months.
