A resolution was approved by the Planning Commission to declare 14 parcels of real property, owned by the Metropolitan Government, as surplus. These properties, acquired through the delinquent tax-sale process, have been determined to no longer be needed for governmental purposes. The resolution authorizes the Director of Public Property Administration to sell these properties in accordance with Section 2.24.250(F) of the Metropolitan Code of Laws. The proceeds from the sale of these properties will be credited to the Barnes Fund for Affordable Housing.
