An ordinance authorizing the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon approximately 500 linear feet of existing eight-inch sanitary sewer main and one fire hydrant assembly and easements. Concurrently, the ordinance authorizes the acceptance of approximately 4,053 linear feet of new eight-inch water main, eight new fire hydrant assemblies, 1,239 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), 3,317 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), and 30 sanitary sewer manholes and associated easements. This infrastructure work is necessary for the construction of project numbers 23-WL-10 and 23-SL-271, serving six properties located on Walton Lane, also known as Walton Station. The Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2025M-091ES-001 on June 17, 2025. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute necessary documents to carry out the abandonment and acceptance.
