The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County authorized the abandonment of approximately 264 linear feet of existing 24-inch stormwater line and 177 linear feet of existing 30-inch stormwater line and drainage easements. Concurrently, the ordinance authorizes the acceptance of approximately 334 linear feet of new 24-inch to 30-inch stormwater line and 181 linear feet of new 30-inch stormwater line and drainage easements. This action is necessary to facilitate project number SWGR T2023017337 at the MNPD Southeast Precinct. The Metropolitan Planning Commission approved this mandatory referral (No. 2025M-032ES-001) on May 15, 2025. The ordinance states that there is no cost to Metro, as abandoned easements have no market value.
