An ordinance to authorize building material restrictions and requirements for BL2025-831, a proposed Urban Design Overlay District (Proposal No. 2025UD-002-001) covering approximately 357.29 acres. The properties are located on the east and west sides of 51st Avenue North, north of I-40, and south of Centennial Boulevard, between 63rd Avenue North and 43rd Avenue North, and on the north and south side of Centennial Boulevard, between Delaware Avenue and Louisiana Avenue to 56th Avenue North south of Centennial Boulevard, and between Couch Drive and Linder Industrial Drive, and on the east and to 61st Avenue North on the west side of 51st Avenue North. The affected areas are currently zoned RS3.75, RS3.75-A, R6, R6-A, RM9, RM20, RM20-A, RM40, OR20, MUN, MUN-A, CN, CL, CS, CS-A, and IR. The ordinance specifically requires that building façades be constructed of brick, brick veneer, stone, cast stone, cementitious siding, metal paneling or siding, and glass, or substantially similar materials.
