An ordinance was passed to amend the Metropolitan Code of Laws by changing the zoning for the property at 5642 Valley View Road in Nashville, TN, from R40 to SP. This rezoning permits the development of four detached multi-family residential units on the 1.45-acre parcel. Short Term Rental Property (STRP), both owner-occupied and not owner-occupied, is explicitly prohibited on the site. The approval is subject to several conditions, including the removal of a gate, implementation of Type B landscape buffers, and the establishment of a 20-foot-wide cross access easement from the private drive to adjacent parcels. Additionally, all surface parking areas must be located behind Units 1 and 4 to limit visibility from the street, and architectural elevations must comply with preliminary SP standards. The internal driveways will be labeled as "Private Driveways" and maintained by a Property Owners' Association.
