An ordinance was approved authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon approximately 498 linear feet of 12-inch combination sewer main, three combination sewer manholes, and associated easements. The decision also includes accepting the vertical relocation of existing water mains (approximately 40 linear feet of 6-inch, 34 linear feet of 8-inch, 34 linear feet of 12-inch, and 34 linear feet of 24-inch lines) and the acceptance of approximately 195 linear feet of new 8-inch sanitary sewer main and four new sanitary sewer manholes. These infrastructure changes are necessary to serve the Vanderbilt University - Roberts Academy development, affecting properties at 1203 and 1207 17th Avenue South and 1200 18th Avenue South. The Metropolitan Planning Commission had previously approved this as a mandatory referral on May 15, 2025.
