The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County approved an ordinance to rezone approximately 106.9 acres of land from Industrial Warehousing Development (IWD) and Residential Single-Family 7.5 (RS7.5) to Specific Plan (SP) zoning. The properties are located along Dickerson Pike, Lemuel Road, Jones Street, and Locust Street, approximately 343 feet south of Kennith Drive. This rezoning permits the development of a mixed-use project on the site. An amendment was added to Section 4, condition 19, requiring a 100-foot wide buffer, not inclusive of right-of-way, between Parcel 06015007800 (10 Quality Way) and any dwelling unit. This buffer must maintain existing mature trees and vegetation, supplemented with evergreen trees and shrubs to achieve a consistent tree density of 30 canopy trees, 15 understory trees, and 90 shrubs per 100 linear feet.
