An ordinance authorizing building material restrictions and requirements as a part of a proposed Specific Plan Zoning District (BL2025-791) for properties at 244 and 252 Liberty Lane to permit 51 multifamily residential units. The ordinance requires building facades to be constructed of brick, brick veneer, stone, cast stone, cementitious siding, and glass, or materials substantially similar in form and function, unless otherwise approved on detailed elevations included with the preliminary SP. It takes effect immediately upon passage and requires publication in a newspaper of general circulation. The legislation was passed by the Metropolitan Council on third reading on May 20, 2025 and became effective May 30, 2025.
