The Metropolitan Council adopted a resolution on May 20, 2025, to accept an $80,000 cash grant from 2500 W. Heiman LP for construction of public restrooms at Fisk Park. No cash match or other obligation by Metro Parks or the Metro Government is required. The grant will be appropriated to the Metro Parks and Recreation Department for immediate use in planning and constructing the restrooms damaged in the 2020 tornado. The project strengthens public amenities in North Nashville and complements nearby greenway improvements funded by the same development partnership.
