An ordinance was passed to authorize specific building material restrictions and requirements for a proposed Specific Plan Zoning District (BL2025-787) at 516, 518, and 520 Veritas Street. The 0.52-acre site, located at the northwest corner of Veritas Street and Saindon Street, is intended to permit 20 multifamily residential units. The approved restrictions mandate that building facades be constructed of brick, brick veneer, stone, cast stone, cementitious siding, and glass, or substantially similar materials, unless detailed building elevations approved within the preliminary SP state otherwise. This ordinance took effect immediately after its passage. The Planning Commission approved the associated Specific Plan with conditions on March 13, 2025.
