The Metro Council approved a resolution to authorize the first amendment to the grant contract between the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting through the Metropolitan Housing Trust Fund Commission, and Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville. The amendment extends the contract term to a maximum of 36 months for constructing affordable housing originally approved under RS2023-2251. The remaining provisions of the contract remain unchanged and in full force and effect. The extension ensures the recipient has sufficient time to complete the project without forfeiting grant funds. Council introduced and voted to approve the amendment on May 20, 2025.
