A request to rezone approximately 64.24 acres of land located at the southwest corner of Couchville Pike and Reynolds Road from R20 (single-family residential) to IWD (Industrial Waterfront District). The rezoning application was filed by Kimley-Horn & Associates on behalf of Couchville Investors, LLC and the Pulley family ownership group. The site includes parcels 134 and 265 in Map 121 and is identified as Subarea 13 of the Antioch–Priest Lake planning district. The proposed IWD designation allows for a broader range of industrial uses, including manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, and port-related functions. The rezoning aligns with Nashville’s long-term land use plan to direct heavier industrial traffic away from residential neighborhoods. Pending final approval, the site would become one of the few waterfront-zoned industrial properties in southern Davidson County. The change is intended to support regional logistics and light industrial development along the Cumberland River corridor.
