The Metropolitan Council adopted a resolution to declare five parcels of land surplus and authorize their conveyance to The Housing Fund, Inc. for the Nashville Community Land Trust. These properties, located at 1707 22nd Ave. N., 2018 Herman St., 2409 Batavia St., 74 Maury St., and 46 Green St., were originally granted in 2019 for affordable housing development. Due to an inability to obtain title and develop within five years, 11 of the original 15 parcels, including these five, reverted to the Metropolitan Government. The Metropolitan Housing Trust Fund Commission voted on February 25, 2025, to re-grant these five specific parcels to The Housing Fund, Inc. for continued affordable housing development.
