This resolution approves an intergovernmental agreement between the State of Tennessee, Department of Transportation (TDOT) and the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, through its Nashville Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure (NDOT). The agreement facilitates the repair of existing pavement failures and resurfacing of 4.43 miles of Bell Road, specifically from Smith Springs Road to Stewarts Ferry Pike. The total estimated cost for the project is $3,747,600.00. TDOT will fund 98% of the project, amounting to $3,672,648.00, while Metro will be responsible for the remaining 2%, or $74,952.00, subject to fund availability. The agreement's term commenced upon approval by all required parties and is set to conclude on June 30, 2026. The Metropolitan Council adopted the resolution on April 15, 2025.
