An ordinance was passed to amend the Zoning Ordinance of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, changing the zoning from RS5 (Single-Family Residential) to R6-A (Residential Duplex) for the property located at 109 Jay Street. This 0.17-acre parcel is approximately 343 feet east of Foster Avenue. The Metropolitan Council passed the bill on its third reading on February 4, 2025. The Planning Commission had previously approved the change on November 14, 2024. This amendment allows for the development of residential duplexes on the site, replacing the previous single-family designation, and will be updated on the Official Zoning Map.
