The Housing and Homelessness Committee approved increasing loan commitments by $2,700,000 from HOME funds to Southside LA Housing Partners, LP, for construction costs of the Southside Senior Housing Project. This brings the total City assistance for the project to $16,520,000. The committee also authorized the General Manager of the Los Angeles Housing Department (LAHD) to amend loan agreements and the Controller to obligate and disburse the funds for construction costs. The project is located at 1655 Manchester Avenue in Council District Eight.
