The PLUM Committee approved the recommendations to vacate and set aside the Mitigated Negative Declaration, Mitigation and Monitoring Program, and entitlement approvals for the Selma Wilcox Hotel Project. Additionally, the committee approved presenting and adopting an ordinance dated June 4, 2025, which rescinds the Zone and Height District Change previously enacted by Ordinance No. 186025. This action was taken in response to a court-issued Writ of Mandate and Judgment in Sunset Landmark Investment, LLC v. City of Los Angeles, et al., which ordered the City Council to invalidate the previous approvals. The matter is now submitted to the full City Council for final consideration.
