The Los Angeles City Council approved the appropriation of $46,400 from the Council Street Furniture Fund No. 43D, Dept. 50, for a community beautification project in Council District 5. The project will be coordinated by the Koreatown Youth and Community Center (KYCC). The Board of Public Works (Office of Community Beautification) is instructed and authorized to prepare, process, and execute necessary documents and payments. The Department of Public Works is authorized to make corrections, clarifications, or revisions to fund transfer instructions. The motion was presented by Councilmember Katy Yaroslavsky and seconded by Councilmember Lee, and was adopted on May 13, 2025, with a unanimous vote of 13-0 with 2 absent members.
