The Housing and Homelessness Committee approved the reappropriation of up to $167,524.61 of unspent Homeless Housing, Assistance, and Prevention (HHAP-1) funds to the HHAP-1 Fund for A Bridge Home Capital and Operating Gap. Additionally, the committee approved up to $160,000 of HHAP-1 funds to support a construction shortfall for the Tiny Home Village (THV) located at 2377 Midvale Avenue in Council District Five (CD 5). The THV, also known as LADOT Lot No. 707, is designed to provide 33 beds for single adults experiencing homelessness. The City Administrative Officer (CAO) was authorized to prepare Controller instructions to implement these transactions. The committee's recommendations are now forwarded to the full Council for consideration.
