The Los Angeles City Council approved the transfer of $57,773 from the AB1290 Fund No. 53P to the Street Services Fund No. 100-86 for maintenance work along the median of Mulholland Drive, east of Topanga Canyon Boulevard in Woodland Hills. The motion authorizes the Bureau of Street Services to carry out landscaping, pavement repair, and traffic safety enhancements. It further empowers the Bureau to make any technical adjustments or clarifications to the fund transfer instructions, including corrections to fund or account numbers. These funds, drawn from developer impact fees, will support ongoing public right-of-way upkeep and neighborhood street improvements. Council District 3 prioritized this project to address safety concerns and enhance the streetscape for local residents. The Bureau will coordinate with contractors to schedule and execute maintenance tasks within the current fiscal year. No additional environmental review was required under CEQA, as the work qualifies as maintenance. Councilmember Bob Blumenfield presented and seconded the motion, underscoring the community benefits of timely infrastructure funding.
