The Los Angeles City Council will consider an offer to dedicate a public easement for traffic signal purposes on the westerly side of Aviation Boulevard, south of 96th Street (Right of Way No. 36000-10342). The dedication, offered at no cost to the City, is intended to facilitate installation, operation, and maintenance of signal poles, control cabinets, and associated pedestrian crosswalk signals at this key arterial intersection. The proposed easement area has been defined in accompanying exhibits and will be incorporated into the City’s right-of-way records upon approval. All work within the easement must comply with Los Angeles Municipal Code standards, including engineering, signage, and ADA accessibility requirements. Approval will enable immediate advancement of the intersection safety improvements planned by the Department of Transportation.
