On January 16, 2025, the Cultural Heritage Commission determined that the Maycrest Bungalow Court, located at 4215 - 4221 1/2 N. Maycrest Avenue, conforms with the definition of a Monument and is categorically exempt from CEQA. The Commission voted 3-0 to recommend that the City Council consider the Maycrest Bungalow Court for inclusion in the list of Historic-Cultural Monuments. The vote was Kanner, Barron, and Kennard in favor, with Buelna and Milofsky absent.
