Ordinance 2025-309-E rezoned a 14.97-acre property at 10005 Gate Parkway North in Jacksonville, Florida, owned by Crossroad Church, Inc. The rezoning reclassified the property from one Planned Unit Development (PUD) District (2020-610-E) to a new PUD District. The primary purpose of this rezoning was to eliminate the prohibition on internally illuminated signage and changing message boards. The property is located at the intersection of Gate Parkway North and Shiloh Mill Boulevard. The application for this rezoning was made by Cyndy Trimmer, Esq. The City Council found the proposed rezoning consistent with the 2045 Comprehensive Plan and determined that it would not adversely affect the orderly development of the City, nor would it be detrimental to the health and safety of residents, the natural environment, or adjacent properties. The ordinance becomes effective upon signature by the Council President and Council Secretary.
