Ordinance 2025-272-E approved the rezoning of approximately 46.54 acres in Jacksonville, Florida, from Agriculture (AGR) District to Planned Unit Development (PUD) District. This change permits the development of single-family dwellings and townhomes on the property. The property is located at 0 Normandy Boulevard, between Manning Cemetery Road and Bicentennial Drive. The application was filed by Paul Harden, Esq., on behalf of Henry G. Griffis, Jr. and trustees of the Ida Griffis 1996 Trust. The rezoning is consistent with the 2045 Comprehensive Plan and was recommended by the Planning and Development Department, Planning Commission, and Land Use and Zoning Committee after public hearings. The City Council found that the proposed PUD will not adversely affect the orderly development of the City, public health and safety, or the natural environment. The rezoning becomes effective 31 days after the adoption of the companion Small-Scale Amendment L-6023-25C.
