Ordinance 2025-282 officially renames a portion of Swooping Willow Court to 'Swooping Willow Court West' in Jacksonville's Council District 6. This action resolves inconsistencies in the City's addressing data, where the street was informally divided into two segments, one with and one without the 'West' designation, despite all 22 residents, JEA, and the Duval County Property Appraiser's Office already using 'Swooping Willow Court West' as their official address. The ordinance waives the requirement for written notifications to affected property owners, as they are already using the proposed new address. Upon enactment, the City will install a new street sign reflecting the updated name.
